White Christmas?
I'm starting to get a little worried about the weather leading up to Christmas. For those of you on the East coast that got dumped on...I'm sorry. Sorry that you got that much snow and cold weather and sorry that I made fun of you for getting it and not us. Things like this generally end up biting me on the arse, such is the case with the weather now. Where I am headed to and want to get back to so despertely is under a winter weather advisory and could be in the blizzard Warning by tomorrrow.
I am traveling it alone since hubby has to work on Christmas Eve. My entire family will be together on Christmas for the first time in a few years. I don't want to be stuck sitting at my house while I know I could be there enjoying my family for a change...so the boys and I will head out tomorrow after work and come back Christmas afternoon...just in time to go to my MIL's house for Christmas. That is PROVIDED the weather cooporates.
Wish us luck...then again, I wish everyone who will be traveling for the holiday...safe travels!

Abscentee Blogger
Ya, that's me. I have been so darn busy at work and when I get home at night I'm not even sure where my evenings go to...PTO, Cub Scouts...all the norm but buy 9 or 9:30 I'm beat down and ready for bed! As much as I LOVE the holiday season I find myself really just wanting it over this year. Economically it has been tough and I will fill you in on a seperate blog post in the near future.
In the meantime I am busy finalizing the last bit before my Christmas presentation at work this afternoon....I will leave you with this; my little guys Christmas Program. Bug is the one in the white sweater wiping his eyes...this is so darn precious I just had to share!

My Favorite Things..Part II
Last year I was just getting started with this whole blog thingymijig. I posted a blog about some of my favorite holiday things I have around my house. Well, since I don't have allot going on right now...besides the normal work and kids I thought I would throw in a few more things from my house that I love this time of year. I gotta say...I LOVE my house when it's all decked out in Christmas stuff..it's so warm and cozy. Just wish I had a fire place, then it would be perfect!
Picture of my Manger under the tree...this is the first year we've put it under the tree...always worried the kids would knock it down and break it sine it's porcelain..I guess I'm still worried about that actually!
Our tree is decked out in Red and Silver Christmas balls and a whole Lot-O-Santa's! Here is yet another picture from one of the ornaments hanging on the tree.
This is a favorite of the kids...a decoration as well as a snow globe! You know what, they can't break this one and believe me you they have tried!
Bug and I made cookies last night while Bear and his Dad were at Scouts...they were oh so yummy fresh out of the oven and even better when we ate them while we watched Disney's new Christmas special "Prep and Landing"!
My very favorite thing...my honery boys when they are playing nice together...nothing better then hearing their laughter!
